Security Analyst - Consultant | Legal & General | Surrey, McAfee,
The Job:-
Deliver and maintain a fully integrated, secure and cost effective IT Security environment that meets both IT standards for service provision, and business requirements (including meeting Business objectives).
To provide an Operational Management function monitoring and managing Legal & General's portfolio of security services that provide protection against intrusions, virus threats and incidents thereby ensuring IT services are delivered and maintained to agreed Service Levels.
Experience Required (essential):
Previous experience within an IT security operational role, preferably within a large organisation, familiar with McAfee products plus intrusion protection and detection products; the role includes out of hours monitoring of critical security alerts
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate abilities to liaise with internal Legal & General staff at all levels facilitating win:win situations by meeting customer needs without compromising security requirements.
In addition an ability to work within processes and policies is essential key.
Experience Required (desirable):
Knowledge of Websphere
ITIL Foundation Level qualification
Attained IT Security industry qualifications
