History

Abraxas was formed in 1974 and through a sustained period of organic growth became one of the largest and most successful UK based recruitment companies. Abraxas also formed subsidiary companies in Germany, America and Australia.

In 1997 Abraxas was acquired by Select Appointments which by 1999 merged with the Dutch group Vedior.

Vedior NV is the world's third largest staffing services organisation.

2007 is another exciting year of growth for Abraxas.
